Someone Is Jealous

Aug 28, 2008 Author: Ryan | Filed under: Daddy

Hehehe…. somebody is jealous! Check out the photos below and you shall know who the person is… ;)

Guess whose leg is that??

Yeah… daddy’s!!

TV time with my daddyyy… I quietly took the remote first before somebody snatches away from me. Hehe… :D

From the photos above you can guess who’s jealous already…. yup, it’s mummy! She complains says that nowadays I tend to look out for daddy & cling to him. She added that every morning I would try to wake up early just to catch daddy before he goes off to work and wanted him to carry me. According to her, I would smile widely and plunge to reach out for daddy’s arm the moment I saw his face when he comes in to the bed room after taking bath or dressed up nicely.

Yes, mummy’s right. I did that because I knew daddy’s going out and I thought I get to tag along too… so, I cling to him in order not to lose the chance of going out of the house! Besides, every time it was daddy who carries me whenever we have any outing! So, I assume he carries me and I get to tag along lor… ;)

As for the daddy & son bonding time during TV session… I clung to daddy because I saw daddy still wearing his jeans ma after came back from work…still got the chance he might go out, right? Hehe ;) Nevertheless, I love to crawl to look for daddy in his computer room. The reason is because I’m interested with his gadgets in the room there!!

However, mummy’s jealousy got worse when daddy says, “He doesn’t wants you liao la… He’ll only look for you when he needs his milk milk from you”. :P

Sigh… poor mummy. Anyway, it’s not really true. I still love to cling to mummy. I love to be rescued from the playpen & high chair by mummy. I still cry and yearn for mummy when mummy walks away or didn’t carry me. Last but not least, I can’t sleep without mummy at night!

See… I co-operated with mummy and posed for her when she’s learning to take photos using daddy’s camera. These 6 photos were taken by her… nice leh?

I found something on the sofa and I’ve thought of an idea on what to do with it already… hehe!

Surveying the surroundings first before taking any action…

Now, only can start take action to grab that ‘thing’ I found…

Next, have to execute plan B as I couldn’t reach it… trying hard to get my butt up on the sofa…

Gather all my energy and strength stretching out… since couldn’t push up my butt up! Perhaps it’s too heavy… :(

Using my tip toes balancing skill…trying again and again to push up my butt! Neh, I ain’t going to give up… never!

Sigh… what a waste! I almost got hold of it before being caught by daddy! Anyway, pity mummy as she was scolded by daddy for being careless leaving her camera on the sofa… :P Poor mummy.

Daddy’s big day!

Aug 23, 2008 Author: Ryan | Filed under: Birthdays, Daddy

Update: Daddy says a big thank you for all the well wishes!

Today is my daddy’s birthday. This is my first year celebrating daddy’s birthday! I didn’t get any pressie for daddy but mummy helped me get a birthday card for daddy. She says that I’m daddy’s best present for this year! So, no need pressie and just a card will do. ;)

Mummy guided me signing off on daddy’s birthday card. Also, I stamped both my thumb prints on the card too. We did this together on last weekend when daddy was at work as it’s a surprise for him…. The birthday card was from Hallmark nice or not? It’s indeed quite pricey card too!

At night, we went out for a dinner with Julie grandma, ah kong, Karyn & Xin Huey yee yee, Jian Han ah koo, 3 koo kong and kim po. It’s a birthday treat for daddy. We ate Thai food… though the food was spicy, I only ate some steam fish. Oh, the restaurant has the same type of high chair as mine at home… :)

Do I look like daddy?? Many people says I had daddy’s eyes, eye brows & ears… hmm, don’t you think so?

Or I look like mummy?? I think I had mummy’s small nose, lips & soft & silky dark brown hair…

I sat on the baby chair surveying the people & environment at the restaurant. After 30 mins, I couldn’t bear sitting on the chair any more, so I got up on the chair and mummy let me play with the mirror on the wall. “Mirror, mirror on the wall… who’s the handsomest of them all, leh??? I think it must be me la… as I only can see my face clearly on the mirror… hehehe. :P

Though there aren’t much food which I could have, I entertained myself by playing with the big big mirror on the wall. I was fascinated with the mirror…as I thought I had a twin brother and I kissed him on the lips… hehe. ;) After having dinner, we all dropped by Julie grandma & ah kong’s house for a while. Ah Kong has many dogs… and I wasn’t scared of them when they barked. Well, that’s how I celebrated daddy’s birthday… too bad that there wasn’t any birthday cake for him… I think the adults have forgotten to buy one… oops! Anyhow, we can have cakes at any time at any day besides birthday, right? Perhaps, mummy’s pressie is much more nicer and better than the cake, right daddy?? ;) Anyway, have a happy birthday, daddy!! MUaaaaks!

My First Elly Ride

Aug 22, 2008 Author: Ryan | Filed under: Development & Achievement, Health, The Early Days, Toys

The Sticky Slimy and Hoarsely Cough bugs have been partying harder and wilder this time as the syrups unable to shoo them away. So, daddy & mummy decided to bring me to see Dr. Dan yesterday. Off we went to the clinic early in the morning! After reaching the hospital, daddy couldn’t find a parking lot. Therefore, he dropped mummy & I at the main lobby first. So, mummy & I went up to Dr. Dan’s clinic meanwhile daddy went one more round searching for car park.

As soon as we reached 3rd floor, Pediatric Clinic, mummy passed my card to the nurse at the reception counter. Then, off we went to the waiting area to wait for my turn to see the doc. While waiting my name to be called by the nurse, mummy decided to take me to the children’s corner which has chairs & tables & some toys. This was because I requested to get down to crawl on the floor but mummy didn’t allow me to do so. Therefore, I protested by banging my hands on the wall which was one of the doctors’ room… :P

Mummy let me sit on this elephant rocker as this was the smallest and lowest in height amongst the rockers available there as she’s afraid that I could fall off from the rocker easily. I was afraid a little when mummy put me on the rocker for the first time and gently rocked me. She guided me on how to play with this rocker by putting my hands on the handles and telling me to grip on them. After sitting there for few seconds then I’ve got the idea on how this thing works. It’s fun and I really enjoyed it …hehe ;)

However, while enjoying my ride I could also get a good view on checking out the people there. Hehe… ;) There were few babies came and joined me riding the rockers. Nevertheless, their daddy took and moved the rockers further away from me… hmm, I think the daddy is afraid of me disturbing his daughters. But hey, I’m a good little man leh… I won’t bite nor bully girls! And, I’m interested to be friends and play with them la, uncle.

Anyway, I couldn’t do anything but just to watch them over here. I kept my eyes glued on them… while I rocked the elephant by myself. I like this toy and I wish I could bring it back home. However, mummy says I couldn’t do that. I wanted to ask daddy to buy one home for me. But, mummy says we couldn’t afford as it’s quite pricey and also we got no place to keep it. Furthermore, I think this toy’s ownership will definitely taken by the kiddo who stays with us and in the end I don’t get to play! Anyhow, I don’t mind if anyone buy this toy for me or this fun toy. Hmm… how I wish I could get one of these on my birthday!! :P

Well, after waiting for about 25 mins my name was called by the nurse. Daddy and mummy brought me to Dr. Dan’s room. Dr. Dan examined me and he said I’m just having a mild flu. My body temperature was normal, my nose was quite dry and no throat infection but I have lots of phlegm. He prescribed new types of medication for cough & phlegm as mummy told him that the previous medications didn’t work for me.

Sigh…have to drink the yucky syrups again! So torturing… Oh ya, the nurse weighed me during my visit to the clinic. My weight is…..deng deng deng deng… 9.9kg!!!!!! Really that heavy meh?? The clinic uses the balance beam type of weighing scale with sliding weight beams meanwhile the government clinic uses this weighing scale. I wonder which one is more accurate… hmm. Perhaps, the chinese herbs porridge which grandma cooked helps me put on weight??

P/S: I hope I could recover as fast as possible as tomorrow is daddy’s birthday. I don’t want to be left out from feasting the goody good cake & food!!
